Family Social Emotional Support Website

On this website, you will find resources that will help you and your family through these times.

Family Supports Hotline

A Family Support Line has been established to provide a resource for students or parents that need additional support during this extended schools closure. Our main goal is to assist families in connecting to resources which could be school counselors, parent advocates, DMH services, social workers, etc.

CCSD employees from the Departments of Alternative Programs, Counseling Services, and Intervention & Psychological Services will answer calls Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. The Family Support Hotline number is 843-937-7907. Please reach out if you or anyone needs support during these difficult days.

Moultrie Middle School Chorus

Hi everyone! I'm Mrs. Lambert. I am the chorus teacher at Moultrie Middle School! I hope you are all faring well during this difficult time. On an optimistic note, we are all getting ready for Fall of 2020 when many of your 5th graders will be coming to MMS! I want to be among the first to welcome you!

Please look over my website, particularly the page for those new to chorus or MMS, which tells you a little about the chance to be a part of the chorus.
My email inbox is always open for questions Alysia_Lambert@Charleston.k12.sc.us! Be well!

Virtual Camp Out Event

Congaree National Park is excited to announce that we are teaming up with the South Carolina State Park Service, the US Forest Service and all the other National Park Service sites in the state to host the South Carolina Virtual Campout event this Friday and Saturday. This is our way of trying to provide a positive experience to our friends and neighbors across the state who are unable to experience our wonderful public lands due to the ongoing pandemic. This event is set up so that families can campout in their backyards or in their own homes, whichever way allows them to stay safe and maintain social distancing recommendations. We have a full schedule of live ranger programs, pre-recorded videos, activities, games and much more. There is a Facebook event page that you can visit to check out the schedule (we'll be adding more information to the event page so check back throughout the week).

Funding and Materials

  • Yearbooks and World Down Syndrome Day shirts will be distributed when we have a process for distribution in place. This will likely be in May once we have the Yearbooks in from the printer.

  • As you know, we cannot work in the building right now so field trip refunds will be forthcoming as soon as we have the ability to write and sign checks. I will keep you posted.
