Beginner or Experienced.... Deepen Your Facilitation Skills
January 31, February 28 & March 28, 2018 (Berkley HIgh School)
5:00-7:30pm
This course will give social workers an opportunity to dig deeper into the philosophy and foundation of Cultures of Thinking (CoT). Designed to bring beginners and advanced together to learn from each other, this series will feature new thinking routines and expanded ideas for familiar ones that may be used with students individually, in small groups, and/or whole classroom lessons. Applications with staff and parents will also be explored. Capstone project will include developing lesson plans to incorporate Thinking Routines, completing these lessons with students, and sharing lessons with participants.
Note: Due to funding guidelines, 18 seats are available for active Oakland County Public Schools Educators and PSA employees for $15. There are 2 seats available for participants from Oakland County Private School or out of county schools.

A great chance to share and exchange ideas for incorporating CoT into your practice. Join us for this hour long virtual sharing on thinking routines using Adobe Connect and telephone connections. Please send in an artifact to share to Steve.Whitmore@oakland.k12.mi.us. NOTE: No SW-CEHs are awarded for this event.
