Thank you
I personally wanted to thank you all for the tremendous support at Kountry Karnival. I was actually able to share this amazing event with my husbands family and my brother and his family who traveled five hours to experience this amazing fest! I continue to be amazed with the hours, compassion, commitment, and fellowship that goes into this ever-growing tradition. Thank you for the many hours served in keeping this event going strong!
I would also like to thank everyone for all the prayers. We left early last Sunday morning after learning my mom was taken to the hospital. She has Parkinson's and is having other complications with her heart. Thank you all for keeping things moving fluidly as I was out all last week. This is a new journey for our family and I greatly appreciate the support that was provided. I pray that we all continue to keep the words from Father Mike's Homily at the 9:00 service today in our hearts as we meet the challenges the Lord sets before us..."Do we take the time to not only thank God for all that we have, but do we truly understand and appreciate day to day all the small things that we have and take for granted?" I am again and again thankful for the warm smiles, genuine concern, and sense of community that exists among our SMG family.
Welcome Nurse Rycroft
Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School has a new School Nurse. Welcome, Sue Rycroft. Nurse Rycroft comes to SMG with over twenty years of experience having served as a clinical, psychiatric, and general medicine nurse. For the past five years, she has spent her time at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School as a part-time employee. We are excited to walk this new journey with our new addition to our SMG family!

Prayers
Continue to pray for our Bishop, priests, administrators, educators, and parents as we continue to guide these young disciples closer to Christ.
