**Curbside “Grab and Go” meals will be available to all Katy ISD students from August 19 through September 4, at twenty-three distribution sites, from 9:30am- 1:30pm. Students will be offered breakfast and lunch daily. Students can choose both meals or one meal at the time of pickup. This option is available to students once per day. Duplicate meal requests at different distribution sites will not be allowed. Students can pick up their meals at any of theses 23 food distribution sites most convenient for them. Students must have their student ID or proof of enrollment (with student ID number available) to receive a meal.
Students enrolled in Katy Virtual Academy (KVA) will continue to have access to meals via a “Grab and Go” format beyond the first 3 weeks of school at designated food distribution sites. The KVA “Grab and Go” schedule for meal service beginning September 8, will be released soon by the district.
Touchless meal payment will be used at the “Grab and Go” meal distribution sites to promote healthy and safe food distribution practices. Families are encouraged to use the Pay N’ Go mobile app to provide student meal money, in place of cash. Parents can pick up meals without their student(s) present. However, parents and/or students must show a student ID, which is scanned for meal payment. ID badges.
Please note, meals are no longer free unless your family qualifies for free/reduced meals.
Many families are experiencing hardship at this time. If you feel you may qualify for free/reduced meals, do not hesitate to apply. It is a confidential process and can be completed by clicking here.
Menus for “Grab and Go” and other information can be found by clicking here.
