State Accountability
The 2017–18 School Report Cards (SRC) are now available on the Texas Education Agency’s website at http://tea.texas.gov/perfreport/src/index.html. The purpose of the SRC is to inform parents and guardians about a campus’s individual characteristics and academic performance. The School Report Cards are also available on our district website under Accountability. A printed copy is available in the main office for viewing.

You ART What You Eat Contest
You Art What You Eat Contest
You Art What You Eat Contest The Texas Department of Agriculture's (TDA) annual You Art What You Eat statewide student art contest is here! The student art contest offers Texas students a chance to earn statewide recognition for themselves and their school. Student winners receive a custom prize package and their artwork will inspire the design for TDA's National School Lunch Week and School Breakfast Week campaigns!
To enter the art contest, students will create artwork highlighting good nutrition and TDA's theme for National School Lunch Week 2019 / School Breakfast Week 2020. The new theme is "Save the Day with a Healthy School Lunch/ Breakfast" This year TDA provides teachers with a new, easy way to upload and submit student entries.
The Submission Packet and Guidelines can be found online at www.SquareMeals.org/artcontest
The submissions deadline is April 12, 2019. Please join TDA in encouraging students to focus their artistic talents on healthy school meals by entering the You Art What You Eat statewide student art contest.

Concurso de arte: Eres lo que comes
¡Ya llegó el momento del concurso anual organizado por el Departamento de Agricultura de Texas (TDA, por sus siglas en inglés: Texas Dept. of Agriculture), es un concurso para estudiantes de todo el estado de Texas! El concurso estudiantil de arte les ofrece a los estudiantes de Texas una oportunidad de obtener el reconocimiento de todo el estado para sí mismos y para su escuela. ¡Los estudiantes ganadores recibirán un paquete de premios personalizado y su obra de arte inspirará el diseño de las campañas de la Semana Nacional del Almuerzo Escolar y la Semana del Desayuno Escolar del TDA!
Para participar en el concurso de arte, los estudiantes crearán obras de arte mostrando la buena nutrición y el tema de TDA de la Semana Nacional del Almuerzo Escolar 2019 o Semana del Desayuno Escolar 2020. El tema nuevo es “Salva el día con un almuerzo o desayuno escolar saludable. Este año el TDA les proporcionará a los profesores una manera nueva y fácil de cargar y enviar las entradas de los estudiantes.
El paquete y las normas para participar en el concurso se pueden encontrar en línea en: www.SquareMeals.org/artcontest La fecha límite para enviar las entradas es el 12 de abril de 2019. STUDENT BIRTHDAY TREATS
Due to a rise in the number of students that have reported food-related allergies, we ask parents who are interested in celebrating their child's birthday at school to send a non-edible treat (stickers, pencils, etc.) Please no balloons due to latex allergies. Please make sure you include ALL students in the class. The students love stickers, pencils, bubbles, etc. and our SLE teachers do a wonderful job at making sure our students feel special on their birthdays. We ask parents to please send these items with the student or drop off in the front office by 2:15 PM.

Porque hemos tenido crecimiento de estudiantes con alergias de comida, les pedimos que los que están interesados en celebrar en la clase de su hijo que manden algo que no sea comida como stickers, lápices, etc. Por favor no traigan globos también tenemos alergias de látex. Grapevine-Colleyville ISD is making some changes to the School Messenger automated calling system. Currently, when GCISD sends a phone message, it uses the main district line. Moving forward, calls will come from the following number: 866-264-0350. By using this toll free number, call recipients will be able to place a call back to this number to hear any missed calls, which is an added benefit to all families. Please save this number in your contacts as a reminder that these calls are coming from GCISD.
Grapevine-Colleyville ISD están haciendo unos cambios a School Messenger en el sistema de llamar automático. Al corriente cuando GCISD les manda un mensaje en teléfono, usa el numero directo.
