LHS Update
5/12/2022
Greetings! Believe it or not, the 2021-2022 school year is down to only a handful more weeks. As always, we highly recommend families check grades by utilizing our SISK12 platform. If your student needs any help, please have them communicate with their classroom teacher. We also offer free tutoring after-school Monday - Thursday from 2:25 pm - 3:25 pm.
Separately, our students are presently preparing for the EOC (End of Course) exams in their Algebra I, (some) Algebra II, Biology, English II, and Government classes. We are very proud of our faculty and students for their serious approach to the testing and we look forward to receiving the results from the state.
Furthermore, we are anxiously making plans to graduate more than 360 Liberty High Seniors on Sunday, June 5th, at 2 pm at the Family Arena in St. Charles. The class of 2022 has been a truly remarkable one and, while we will miss them when they go, we will rest easier knowing that they will make our world a better place. Let’s make sure that the end of the 2021-2022 school year is a positive one for all!
In closing, on behalf of the Liberty High Staff, we thank you for sharing your children with us and wish all of you a successful final few weeks of our 2021-2022 school year!

CURRENT JUNIORS - IMPORTANT
Dear Junior Parents and Students:
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services has mandated that the Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine (MCV4) be required for all 12th-grade students. All students starting 12th grade shall have two doses of MCV.
This vaccine is required prior to starting the first day of school for the 2022/2023 school year (even if your child will be enrolled in virtual school).
If your student has already received his/her shot for their senior year please fax or email an up-to-date record to the nurse’s office as soon as possible. This will ensure a much smoother transition into the new school year. If you are not sure if your student is up-to-date, please contact your child’s physician.
The St. Charles County & Warren County Health Departments have regular hours available by appointment if you can't get in to see your family doctor before the first day of school on August 24th. In addition to the health departments, children can be immunized at walk-in health clinics such as Walgreens, CVS, and Schnucks.

Warren: http://www.warrencountyhealth.com/health-services/immunizations/
Thank you for your attention to this important issue. Please contact the school nurse if you have any questions regarding this vaccine requirement.
Stay healthy,
Nurse Bridget
