NO SCHOOL

We will not have school on Friday, September 3rd and Monday, September 6th! Have a safe and blessed Labor Day Weekend!

Reminders

Thank you all for getting the school year off with a positive start. Just a couple of reminders as we are getting back into it:

Parents can drop students off at the doors starting next week, but will not be coming in to the building.

If your child will be out for the day please call the school office, do not send emails.

If there is a change in pick-up or schedules, please send a note in the child's assignment notebook, and call or email the school office. This will help us keep track of changes.

Be sure to review the Dress Code in the Handbook with your child(ren).

SOCIAL FEST

Holy Trinity School would like to thank Social Fest for its continued support! This year, Social Fest raised funds for various items and resources needed by the school! Thanks to this funding, we will be able to put in bottle fillers in the school to replace bubblers, new playground equipment for our younger students, money for teachers to spend on things in their classroom, and more. We are so blessed to have so many people who value the importance of Catholic Education, and are willing to support it with their time, talent and treasure! A huge thank you to the Social Fest Committee, all the volunteers, those who attended the event, and to everyone who helped in any way! May God bless you and reward you for your generosity!

Virtues in Education

This school year we will be incorporating the Virtues into our education. We are using the Disciples of Christ Program. Our first virtue we will be introducing to the students is Prayerfulness. Prayerfulness is being still, listening, and being willing to talk to God as a friend. We are prayerful when we are at Mass even when we are sitting and standing with quiet respect. We are prayerful when we are in front of the Blessed Sacrament in silence and reverence.

Lunch Program Help

We are still looking for people to help with the lunch program. Dates and times Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The hours are 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

A Note from Mrs. Longden

Thank you all for the support you have been giving to Holy Trinity Staff and Students. We had a great Open House last week, followed by a successful Social Fest over the weekend, and began school on Monday morning. The students have been doing a great job adjusting back to school and learning all of the new procedures. We are all taking things day by day and learning a lot by working together to provide a fun, educational year. The teachers are happy to have the students back in the classrooms and the students seem very excited to be back.

I feel blessed to be working with the staff and students we have at Holy Trinity. I look forward to having a successful year!

Blessings,

Mrs. Longden
