Message from Mrs. Langston
Happy Fall Ya'll!
The air is crisp, the leaves are changing, and the mornings are chilly!
We had a wonderful week last week, and hope for anther great week!
My twin girls are at the high school and attend on A Days. However, I encourage them not to stay up past their bedtime on an A Day , just because they work remotely from home on their B Day. This week, I had a lot of sleepy kids on some mornings. Please remember, I am trying to cover a great deal of material when your child is at school. So a good night's rest is so important. Every night is a school night during the week! Please encourage your child to stop watching tv, playing video games, or using their phones late into the evening this week!
Picture Day is Coming for A students!
Thursday, October 8 is School Picture Day for all A students only.
Learning Goals for the Week
ELA: I can draw conclusions about an informational text to help me identify the main idea.
Math: I can find all the factor pairs for whole numbers numbers up to 50. I can also learn how to identify prime and composite numbers.
Social Studies: I can explain how people, events and developments brought about changes to communities in various regions of N.C. (Coastal Region, Piedmont Region, and Mountain Region) We will make a salt map of the regions of North Carolina!
