HSMA's MAP ASSESSMENT UPDATES
*All students' temperatures will be taken outside of the front doors. Please do not drive off until your child has been cleared to enter the building.
Next week, we will be offering MAP testing on campus and online (remotely). Whether your student is making up a missed assessment or taking it for the first time, please read the following information carefully.
MAP make-up and remote testing dates by grade levels:
Sept. 2st ~ Grades 1 & 2
Sept. 22nd ~ Grades 3 & 4
Sept. 23rd ~ Grades 5 & 6
Sept. 24th ~ Grades 7 & 8
In person make-up testing and remote testing will follow the same testing day schedule.
7:45 AM ~ Breakfast
8:30-11:30 AM ~ Math
11:30-12 PM ~ Lunch
12-12:30 PM ~ Break
12:30-3:30 PM ~ Reading
Testing On Campus
Students testing on campus will need to bring the following:
- A mask
- Charged DISD issued technology
- Bottled water
Students will take the Math assessment, followed by Reading. Some students will finish early, and others will take longer. When students have completed both assessments, parents will be called to pick up their child(ren).
Testing At Home
Parents with students testing at home, will need to review the 3 attached documents to prepare for their testing day. Remember that your child can only test on the day his/her grade level is scheduled to test. There are NO make-ups at this point. So, it is imperative that the schedule is adhered to and the attachments are reviewed prior to testing day.
Session Names and Passcodes will be sent the day before your scheduled testing date.
If you have any questions, comments and/or concerns, please let us know. Thanks!

Dear HSMA Community,
We have ended our first week of virtual instruction. Thank you for your patience as we work out the technical challenges that we've encountered. Our success is determined by the collaborative efforts of everyone in our HSMA community. This includes you. If you have concerns or suggestions about the strength and effectiveness of our prepared environment I want to hear from you. Please email me at NJones@harrystone.org.
We are welcoming students to campus to take the MAP Assessment. Safety is our first priority. We cannot serve our students if the environment is not safe. Please assess yourself and/or your child(ren) before reporting to campus.
