Sneak Peek of the Week!

Next week we welcome the month of June, and a whole lot of field trips, learning and fun! Watch for continued correspondence from teachers and the office for the most up-to-date information.

Tuesday May 30

-Saints Science Fair! Future scientists from grades 4-9 will showcase learning and the scientific method in our annual science fair!

-Our grade 6 will once again be hosting a lunch hour canteen, with all proceeds going to their year end trip! See info below, including an easy pre-order slip for elementary students to pre-order on Tuesday morning to skip the line up!! Please note, KD cups and chips are sold out and will not be replaced. Thank you for your continued support of this fundraiser.


Wednesday May 31

-Blessings galore to our grade 2 students who will receive the Holy Sacrament of Reconciliation at 5:00pm at the Immaculate Conception Church.

-Red Shirt Day! Wear RED to show support for persons and families who are living with disabilities, celebrate their achievements and show commitment to creating a fully accessible and inclusive society!

-Pre-orders for Hot Dog day to the office please.


Thursday June 1

-Hot Dog Day! Three loud cheers for our fantastic volunteers!


Friday June 2

-PD Day. No school for students as our teachers focus on their own professional development.


If your child rides a First Student bus (R41, R42), please be sure to see the information below regarding bus pass applications for the 2023-2024 school year. Deadline is approaching!


Please note that all outstanding fees are due to the office. Watch for emailed statements to be coming home. If you're unsure if you have any fees due, please contact the office.

Final Munch A Lunch of the Year: Pizza Hut!

Our next Munch-A-Lunch is now open for online ordering, with lunch to be served by crowd favorite, Pizza Hut on Tuesday June 20th.Parents/ guardians can log in to order and pay for lunch before Monday June 12th at midnight!

District Level Winners from St. Mary's!

Congratulations to Jayce and Gerrit whose entries for the Legion's Remembrance Day contest have won on the district level! Jayce won first place in the Junior Poem division, and Gerrit's won second in the Junior Essay division.

First Student Bus Applications for the 2023-2024 School Year

All new and returning students requesting to ride a First Student bus this coming year must apply for a 2023-2024 bus pass by June 30th, 2023.

Did you know?

Only some students qualify for government-funded bussing. Those who do not qualify may or may not be eligible to purchase a yearly bus pass ($320.00 per student/year), and there are some situations where a bus pass is unavailable.

IMPORTANT DEADLINES & DETAILS:

  • Deadline: Applying for a bus pass AFTER June 30th may cause a delay in receiving your bus pass this September.
  • Grace Period: After a short grace period in September, all riders are required to have a valid bus pass when boarding the bus.
  • Payment: Bus Pass payment (if applicable) is included in your fall school fee statement that is issued early in October.
  • Additional Information: All other information regarding Busing can be found in our Busing & Transportation website tab by CLICKING HERE.

Grade 6 Canteen

This will likely be the final time our Grade 6 class will be operating our canteen in effort to raise funds for their year end trip! Grades K-4 are invited to pre-order on Tuesday morning to ensure that lunch is heated and delivered in time for their lunch break.

School Related Fees

All school related fees, including JH Options, Camp Warwa fees, PreK, Kinder+, extracurricular fees including sports, and transportation fees must be paid by June 15th.


Please watch for emailed fee statements soon, or contact the office if you're unsure of your student's current fee standing.


All fees can easily be paid online through the PowerSchool Parent Portal or in the office via debit, credit or cash. Please contact the office if you need assistance with PowerSchool Parent Portal.
