Cooking with K/1 Ella
K/1 Ella have become MASTER CHEFS! As K/1 Ella have been immersing themselves into the Thai culture as part of their country study for multi cultural day Miss Mason and I assisted the students in creating a delicious stir fry and jasmine rice. We cooked the stir fry with noodles, bok choy, carrots, water chesnuts, snow peas, green beans and much more! Students seemed to really enjoy this experience as they learnt about Thai food and their culture.

On Thursday, 13 August, 2015 students from 1/2 Dodson embarked on a rich learning journey that encouraged them to explore the art of cooking! Miss To and I have given 1/2D the fantastic opportunity to make sushi! We used rice, seaweed (nori), cucumber, tuna and a little soy sauce. Students really enjoyed this experience as they had a turn placing the filling on the nori and then used their skills to roll it. We had so much fun making it, learning the procedure and of course, we loved eating it!
