Greetings Ridgeline Families!

It feels good to be sending out our first official newsletter today! Many students have been on campus already the past two weeks participating in regular school activities. The sights and sounds of these kids in their new high school is really rewarding! We’ve all learned a great deal along this journey of preparing to open Ridgeline. Personally, I have appreciated the patience, understanding, and flexibility of you parents. Some parts of this plane we are still building while in the air! So, information and logistics may come on short notice. It always works out in the end.

Our newsletter will contain important dates, information, events, etc.. It’s good to look it over to stay informed. It will be one of our primary sources of communication, and the plan is to deliver the newsletter every Friday.

Please note the events highlighted in today’s Falcon Flyer. Hope to see you all in the stadium with us on Tuesday. Promises to be a great moment for our community.

We will be sending more detailed information out next week about the first three days of school. Our main focus that first week is getting familiar with the school building, establishing our culture, and connecting with each other. At the same time we will begin to embed our academic plans and expectations as well.

Something we have emphasized through the development of our Mission (https://rhs.cvsd.org/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=1755917&type=d&pREC_ID=1937372), is maintaining our focus on those we serve… our students. If we keep our decisions aligned with the growth and success of our young people, then we will be successful educators.
