Jesse Boyd Elementary---- January 16, 2020
Greetings from Dr. Rose
Greetings from JBE where we inspire and equip your student to be a part of the JBE O'hana this school year. Hauʻoli makahiki hou or Happy New Year! Welcome to 2020. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Winter Holiday. It is always a busy, fun filled time that enables us to rest and rejuvenate for the amazing second semester of school. We are so excited about the wonderful achievement of your students so far- and we are seeing this in MAP testing this week- and we look forward to what is to come in this second semester. Not only are we continuing to move our students forward academically, we are having a great time in activities. We have our first coffeehouse of the year tomorrow where we have many new Kahunas to recognize, Family Game Night is next week, a great celebration for our Apple Recognition next week, Club Fridays are set to begin at the end of this month, and our school musical is ramping up in preparation as they get ready for that amazing event in early March.
It is so easy to see why there is no place I'd rather be than JBE. ~a hui hou
Family Game Night
This is always a great time. We really need pizza orders in by tomorrow in order to prepare. Just as a reminder, we do not have school on Monday.
Duty Free Lunch
Please sign up for a time to help out on January 29th.
