Afterschool- January Bring it on! It may have been a long cold January but we kept it warm and fun in Afterschool!

The Writers Box-Middle school students enjoyed learning what it takes to write and illustrate a book through a special presentation by author Jayne J. Jones Beehler and artist Katrina G. Dohm. They walk the students through the process of creating and writing their new book Drop the Puck, Shoot for the Cup

Strengthening Families Program

Strengthening Families Program 5:00-7:30 p.m., Tuesdays, Feb. 2-March 15

Location: Spooner United Methodist Church. This seven week program presented by Lakeland Family Resource Staff is designed for parents and middle school youth. The program focuses on building strong family bonds through weekly games, discussions, and activities. ALL Washburn County families are invited to attend! A meal is provided each night and childcare is available. Pre-registration is required by calling LFRC at 715-635-4669.

Al Stawicki, from Cable WI, science-magician extraordinaire, will amaze you with his fun-filled repertoire of prestidigitation, science principles, and audience participation. Specific event details will be coming soon!

Magic Al Residency March 2 and 3rd at MS Afterschool!

Magic Al will be holding an after school residency during regular club time with our MS students on March 2nd and 3rd . He will be doing lots of fun, hands on science experiments.
