Classroom News!
This was an exciting week in Kindergarten! The class was so excited to share their Halloween costumes with school community during our annual Concord Hill Halloween parade. Thank you to all the volunteers that brought in the festive items and goodies for our Halloween Party!
The students are ending our Fall themed Unit. During this unit the children have discussed the life-cycles of pumpkins and apples, compared and contrasted leaves and created artwork from objects in nature.
Starting in November we be discussing Families. We will be touching upon all the ways in which are families are the same and different.
Conversation Starters

Poem of the week: "Skeleton Parade"
Skeleton Parade
The skeletons are out tonight,
They march about the street
With bony bodies, bony head
And bony hands and feet.
Bony, bony, bony bones
with nothing in between
Up and down and all around
They march on Halloween.
