Aston Clinton Colts

November Update

A Moment to reflect

October started off in a terrible way with the tragic news of Ben Roberts' death in a traffic accident. Ben played for the Colts for a while, as did his brother Jamie, our thoughts remain with Ben's family and many friends. I would like to thank everyone who so impeccably observed the clubs minutes silence.

October also saw the return of the Under 11's and 12's to Aston Park, and it was fantastic to be stood, refereeing the Under 11's and seeing the Under 10's and Under 16's all playing at the same time!

A few other major announcements came out in October, our inaugural Christmas Social was launched - get ready for December the 11th, with a bar, some food and a great chance to spend some time together socialising as a club - oh and the kids are welcome too! We also started planning our tournament - over two days this year - we'd love to find the tournament officer of the future, if you'd like to get involved please let us know! And finally the presentation day date was set and plans put under way!

We're not sitting still, the committee met this week to continue looking at ways to keep moving your club forward. We've launched a club shop - details below, and improved our storage facilities at Aston Park this month, and we will update you in January on other developments, but if you have any comments or ideas please let a member of the team know - their contact details can be found in our handbook link below.

And just to really make you think - Only one more pay day to Christmas ;)

Be Safe

Under 11's - the season so far!

Pete Carter - U11's Manager

A decent start to the season for the U11s. So far 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. We've really come on from where we were at last season and despite a heavy defeat in our last game, things are still heading in the right direction. Training has been getting tougher for the boys and we have been reaping the rewards.
Moving forward, the team are going to be trying some new tactics and routines.
