A Message from the Principals
Dear Millbridge Families,
We had another fantastic week at Millbridge and saw many happy students with books in their hands and smiles on their faces. As the weather gets cooler, please help your child enjoy their recess and be comfortable during outdoor learning experiences by making sure they have appropriate outerwear. There is information about Halloween festivities and our exciting School Store fundraiser below. If your child is not participating in Halloween activities, please email your child’s teacher(s) and MBoffice@delranschools.org so we can arrange alternate activities for them on that day.
Have a fantastic weekend!!

From the Guidance Office
During the month of October, Mr. C. visits classrooms to discuss and explore healthy choices while talking about the four bear paws: respectful, helpful, caring & responsible. Every day at Millbridge, teachers also reinforce these themes in the morning and throughout the day. During the upcoming week we will add an extra "flair" and "focus" to our lessons by having school-wide themes:
Monday - Hats for Healthy Choices - wear your favorite hat
Wednesday - Team Up for Healthy Choices - wear your favorite team jersey
Friday - Show our PAWS and our BEAR spirit- Bear Wear/brown & gold day
Halloween
Parade
Millbridge students will be celebrating with our annual parade on Wednesday, October 31st. The parade will begin at 11:15 through the front doors and will continue to march around the side and back of the building ending at the cafeteria playground. We ask that parents line up outside the cones. The parade will begin with our 2nd graders, followed by 1st grade, then kindergarten and finally preschool.
As a service to parents with students at both DIS and Millbridge, we are providing shuttle buses between the two schools for the parades. The DIS parade begins at 10:15. There will be a shuttle bus from Millbridge to DIS at 10:00; DIS to Millbridge at 11:00, and Millbridge to DIS at 12:00. We hope that this will ease parking concerns for parents with children at both schools. We are looking forward to a great parade!
Costumes
We know how exciting it is to dress up and assume a new identity, but there are some important guidelines we need you to follow. Costumes should be worn to school over your child’s clothes. If your child’s costume has a mask, please send the mask in a bag or your child’s backpack. Costumes may not include weapons (plastic knives, swords, guns, etc…).
In order to monitor the safety of our Halloween Event, we ask that parents do not wear costumes so that everyone is easily recognizable and our students are kept safe. Thank you for your cooperation.
Classroom Parties and Treats
If you are providing treats for the classroom, please drop them off at the main office by 9 AM. Label the item with the teacher’s name so that we can easily deliver to them.
Teachers have provided the office with the names of adults assisting in the classrooms and passes will be sent home. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PASS, WE REGRET THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO VISIT THE CLASSROOM.
Autumn Family Fun
Join the Burlington County Historical Society for their Harvest Fest. Details here.
School Store
We will be kicking off the the SchoolStore.com program on Tuesday. This no-cost fundraising program was very successful last year. It is NO COST to the school and NO DOOR-TO-DOOR SELLING. Participating students have the opportunity to win prizes. Information packets will be sent home with the students on Tuesday.
In the meantime, check out this video that the students will see on Tuesday:
