As the school year comes to a close, we reflect on the wonderful memories and achievements made by our Brickies. It has been a great year filled with learning, growth, and fun. We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable summer break. May it be filled with new adventures, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones. We can't wait to see you again in August! Enjoy this edition of Focus on Education, where we take a look at how we spent our last week of the 2022-2023 school year in the School City of Hobart!
Class of 2023 Walks the Halls Where They Had Their Start!
Emotions were high on Tuesday morning as our graduating seniors visited the school buildings they grew up in...from The Early Learning Center to Hobart Middle School, they got a chance to bid farewell to the buildings and teachers that helped shape them! It was, indeed, a very special moment for the Class of 2023!
Class of 2035 Shines at Kindergarten Graduation!
Our Kindergarten graduates from the Early Learning Center were celebrated on Wednesday night at Kindergarten Graduation! 264 graduates proudly accepted their diplomas from Dr. Buffington and their principal, Mrs. Gutierrez! We are so proud of all of our kindergarteners and can't wait to see what they do as FIRST GRADE BRICKIES!
HHS State Track Qualifiers Celebrated!
On Thursday morning, Hobart High School celebrated its state-bound track athletes with a send-off parade! Best of luck to Cody Johnston*, Willy Shearer, Ryan Mattel, Jonny Sorensen, Carson Bell, Taylor Pope, Cassie Cohen, and Daeges Morgan as they compete in the IHSAA State Track and Field Tournament tomorrow and Saturday! We are so proud of all of you!
*Cody is already down in Indianapolis preparing, and was not with us for the parade on Thursday morning.
Brickie Pride Kids Football Camp!
Brickie Pride Kids Camp is taking place Monday, June 5th - Thursday, June 8th and the deadline to sign up is May 26th. $50 per camper; sibling discount is available! This is a co-ed camp, so we encourage all students to participate. It is a skills-based camp with competitive activities. It is a non-contact camp to introduce skills needed to participate in the sport and encourage physical activity in the summer. Click here to register!
Hobart Boys Basketball Youth Summer Camp!
Registration is now open for the Brickie Boys Basketball Booster's Youth Summer Camp! This camp is open to boys in grades 1-8 for the 2023-2024 school year. Session 1 is from June 14-16 and Session 2 is from July 11-13. The cost is $40 for one session or $70 for both. Checks can be made payable to BRICKIE BASKETBALL BOOSTERS and mailed to:

Volleyball Summer Camp!
Volleyball Camp registration is now open. This two-day camp is open to both boys and girls and will be held July 19 & 20th in the HHS Main Gym. The cost is $40 and includes a t-shirt if registered and paid by July 9th.
