Student Drop - Off Procedures
All students should be dropped off on the side of the school close to the Tennis Courts. Students are able to access the school from the side entrance in the morning.
Please do not drop students in front of the main entrance prior to the beginning of the school day as this is reserved for School Busses only.
We have many new drivers in the Parking Lot. Please do not drive through the student parking lot and drop off students there. It is already a bit hectic and more cars in and out can add to the issue.
Please do not drive down the driveway to the left of the school. This area is reserved for student van drop-off at the side entrance located there.
If you are dropping off a student after the beginning of school, using the driveway directly in front of the main entrance is fine.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Fall Open House
Please join us for our Fall Open House which will take place from 6-8pm on Thursday, September 26th. During the Open House parents will have the opportunity to hear about programs offered at GDRHS and meet with their student's teachers as they follow their schedules. Administration and Guidance Counselors will be on hand to answer questions as well. Hope to see you there!
Reminder to the SENIORS of the Class of 2020 and their PARENTS: SENIOR PORTRAITS are due on OCTOBER 25. If you haven’t scheduled your photo session, do so as soon as possible.
Here is our information sheet containing PORTRAIT PHOTO SPECIFICATIONS to give to your photographer as well as SENIOR TRIBUTE AD design and purchasing information for PARENTS and FRIENDS of SENIORS.
Our official school photographer is MARK LAWRENCE PHOTOGRAPHERS. They offer affordable portrait rates for GD seniors.
Our Mark Lawrence school rep, Lisa Dipalma, and her colleagues were at the high school on Friday, August 30, to take STUDENT ID PHOTOS, and she is working with our new Athletic Director Matthew Ricard to set the TEAM PHOTO date for our fall teams. We’ll be sending out information for how you can order underclassmen portraits, team pictures, and individual athlete photos in one of Mr. Woodlock’s upcoming blogs.
