Haemon
Sorry Fellow
The King's Son
Haemon was engaged to Antigone. He was also King Creon's son. Whose side should he have been on? He knew of what Antigone did, and he knew she would be punished by his father. He was a man, and took his father's side. He was angry with his father because he loved Antigone, and respected her as a person, even though she was a woman. When he found his fiancee hanging in the cave, he went crazy and tried to kill his father. He failed and then killed himself, hugging Antigone as he died.
