Andrew Jackson was an orphan. He was in the military at age fifteen. At a young age two of his brothers and his mother died. When his brother and mother died he had to deal with smallpox that he got when he was captured as a prisoner of war by the British.

Jackson's policy on the removal of the United states bank made a lot of sense. The United States bank favored the rich. The poor were left without a bank to go to.
