House APP Contest

This year marks the first annual Congressional Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Academic Competition, the "House APP". This new competition is designed to engage student's creativity and encourage their participation in STEM education fields. Establised by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives in 2013, this competition is a nationwide event that allows high school students from across the country to compete by creating and exhibiting their software application , or APP for mobile, tablet or another computer device in a platform of their choice, Throughout the competition period, participating students will be provided opportunities to engage with various STEM educational partners located within the community to mentor and assist them with their APP development.

THe "House APP Contest" is open to all high schools. Students entering the competition must submit their APP's source code online during the Competition Submission Period between now and 11:59 PM on April 30, 2014. 4th Marking Period Drug & Alcohol Policy Violations

Friday, April 11, 2014, is the beginning of the 4th marking period. For seniors, this means that if you are charged with a violation of the Drug and Alcohol Policy during the 4th marking period, you will not participate in commencement activities. We are required to remind seniors of this policy statement.

Intelligencer Reality Art Contest Winners from CB West!

Three students from CB West were winners for the annual Intelligencer Reality Art Contest! Congratulations are in order for:

-Xavier Lorie’- Song Illustrated- Second Place

-Emily Schlotter- Portrait- Honorable Mention

Students from all over the surrounding area submitted entries to the contest, and Mrs. Levin is so proud of her students for their wonderful work!
