Thankful Tuesday & Thursday

This week on Tuesday Mrs. Kaufmann, our school counselor, and our WEB classes set up booths before school and during both lunches to allow students to write what they are thankful for on a leaf that would be put up on our Thankful Tree that is displayed in our main hallway.

Students were also able to purchase a Gratitude Gram for $0.25, which allowed them to write a note to a friend with a cool bendy pencil attached to it. These grams were delivered during 5th period on Thursday. We are so proud of our Vikings for spreading gratitude around campus!

If Your Child Is Out of School

If you need to report an absence please call 714-962-7738 x5082 - 24 hours a day.

The school is required by the state to have an official explanation for all absences. Please call the school attendance office each and every day(s) your child is absent. When leaving a message on the attendance line, leave your child’s first and last name, the date of the absence, the reason for the absence, your name and a phone number where we can contact you. If your child is to be away from the school over a long period of time, please call the school and notify them of the absence in advance. You will need to work directly with teachers via e-mail to request homework. If your child is absent due to a doctor’s appointment, please provide the doctors note to the Attendance Office as soon as possible.

Independent Study Requests

We are happy to work with you! Students who know in advance that they are going to miss 5 or more consecutive days are encouraged to notify the Attendance Office. An Independent Study Contract will be established to ensure that all days missed will be considered excused absences if the student completes the pre-established work designated by each teacher. Please do give us 2 weeks notice to allow time for teachers to supply assignments.

Beat the Clock! Be on Time!

The Mall is opened by 8:00 AM as well as our kitchen for breakfast. Don't snooze and lose out!
