Assessment Update:
TELPAS: The TELPAS window has been extended to May 29. The Commissioner has applied for a federal waiver on the test itself but since we don’t know when he will hear back, they have at a minimum extended the testing window.

Team & Divisional Meetings:
- We had our first round of virtual meetings with the Team Leads, Whole staff, GL Teams, and leadership/special pops this week and I feel like they were successful.
Teacher Communication To Do's
This week, begin to think about how you will be intentional with these scholars. Some ideas are setting up zoom meetings to invite scholars to get on and interact with you during the day. Once a week will be fine.
SPED Scholars:
Be sure to call these parents and send an e-mail once a week to them, reach out to SPED for assistance with this. We don't know what the requirements for FAPE will end up being, so I want us to already have a way in which we can document how we serviced scholars during this time. Your e-mail can be simple, in which it explains to parents:
- the adjustment of the lesson for scholar,
- how the assignment is shortened or
- how much extra time they have to complete the work.

Counseling Survey
The Student Support Services Department strives to deliver top-quality care and service to our scholars and colleagues across the Uplift network. In an effort to gather important information about current satisfaction with Social/Behavioral Counseling Services, may I ask that you please complete a very short (5 minutes or less) online survey by clicking https://goo.gl/forms/nW9xl7YatZoOs0A23. I will not have access to your ratings or feedback, and this information will be visible only to Department Administration for quality assurance purposes. You will have additional opportunities to share your thoughts and feedback about my services over the course of the year. Thank you in advance for your participation on this!
Again, you may access the short survey by clicking https://goo.gl/forms/nW9xl7YatZoOs0A23.
Thanks everyone,
