Reflections from Elder's Desk
This past week, I had the opportunity to attend the Christmas concerts for Orchestra and Band, and I heard one of the Choir groups sing. We are blessed to have so many well-rounded and musically gifted students. I noticed how poised, confident and determined our students were to put on a perfect performance. Indeed, the melodies made my heart happy and put smiles on the faces of the audience. Our students’ musical talents, passion, and energy are to be applauded and are a testament to their musical gifts and their commitment to greatness.
As we prepare for the spring semester, let me encourage you to think about those roadblocks that have prevented you from being innovative or from taking risks. You have the skill set and support to overcome any challenges that hold you back! We want to Hear You Roar so take that next step and embrace the opportunity to exceed beyond your wildest imagination. Refresh, restore, and renew your hearts and minds, and let us get ready for an incredible 2018.
As we finish the fall semester, please report any suspicious activity to the front office immediately. Be vigilant! It takes all of us to maintain a disciplined environment with high expectations for all. As a school family, WE must address issues and hold ALL students accountable.

Absences students accrue during finals count in their total absences, too. If these absences exceed the number allotted, students must take their exams before the semester ends or in January.
