My apologies for the delay in publishing the RBS April newsletter. As most of you know, I have been working through some health issues the past several weeks.
I anticipate learning my test results in a few days, thus I am focusing my energy on prayer, healing and positive thoughts until my reports come in. I know God is in control and nothing I face takes Him by surprise .Whatever the results, God will take care of me and my family. Your continued prayers are greatly appreciated.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. ~Psalm 46:1
I’m delighted to report that we are consistently growing our student enrollment numbers for the fall at RBS. Your positive communications to friends and family AND positive support on social media makes a HUGE difference! Thank you to those of you who have leveraged your social media accounts to support our wonderful program! As our student enrollment numbers continue to grow for the fall classes, I am excited for the many new educational opportunities to come next year!

CHAPEL CHAT Ms Chris
April is finally here! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. The children will hear stories this month about Jesus’ life and his amazing love for them.
Jesus was a child just like them and when he grew up he continued to spread God’s love with lessons and examples of sharing, listening, kindness and forgiveness. They will hear the Easter story and celebrate the news that Jesus is alive.
Our Bible verse this month is “Jesus is the son of God” John 20: 30-31.
Ask your children to sing our Chapel Bible song and Prayer! What a blessing they are to have in Chapel!
MUSICAL MOMENTS Ms Deborah
All the blooming flowers and trees and everything green brings forth music to the soul! In music we will be opening April with Easter and songs of praise and worship, and finish with songs of rain and flowers growing. The toddlers are opening up and joining in the motions, instruments, and some are even singing along. They are really starting to embrace their musical side. The twos are full of motion and really getting the concepts of beat and soft and loud. They have made great progress this year and have really learned how to express themselves through music. The threes will finish the alphabet journey with E is for Early Music, we will talk about baroque, medieval, and renaissance music, O is for Orchestra, discuss the instruments in an orchestra, J is for Jazz, listen to and pretend play along with a jazz band, and Q is for Quartet, listen to a quartet and what makes it what it is. The Pre-K class will continue to learn songs on the chime bells implementing all the music knowledge of notes and rests we have been learning. Have a wonderful spring and a Happy Easter!
AMAZING ARTISTS Ms Jennifer
This year as flown by so fast. The students had a great time reading Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in Hat and learning how to draw a Cat. We also read Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar and used balloons as a painting tool to paint our own Caterpillar. In April will will focus on a new artist Pablo Picasso.
