AHS Swimmers Excel at State
Ryleigh Wells earned 3rd in the 100 breaststroke and 5th in the 50 freestyle in the OSSA 5A Swimming State Championship meet in Edmond. Jacob Perryman was crowned state champion in the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
National FCCLA Week
February 14th through the 18th was full of activities celebrating FCCLA, The Ultimate Leadership Experience. Activities included the bead game, photo booth, ChickFilA breakfast for members, Faculty and Staff Appreciation Lunch, and the annual dodgeball tournament, which the Senior class won!
FCS Day at the Capitol
Ashlyn Schwartzlander, Camryn Maddoux, Skyelili Guastella, and Kenzie Russell from the Adair FCCLA chapter participated in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) Day at the Capitol on February 9. While there, Adair students were able to meet with legislators, state leaders, and other students from across the state, painting the Capitol in a sea of red blazers. Students advocated for FCS Education, FCCLA, and OK CareerTech programs.
Oklahoma FCCLA serves more than 13,364 members in 400 local chapters in junior and senior high schools and on technology center campuses.

CLASS A AND B AREA TOURNAMENTS AND CLASS 2A-4A REGIONAL TOURNAMENTS—GAMES ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY WILL BE PLAYED ON IN ONE SESSION ON FRIDAY. LOCATIONS WILL REMAIN THE SAME. GAMES TIMES ARE 4 PM; 5:30 PM; 7 PM AND 8:30 PM.
