Essential Login Information - September 2nd, 2020

Essential Logins for iPads, Grade K to 2

The video covers

  • Sign in to Google Chrome using your student's Google login credentials. Log in credentials are located on the back of the QR code that is included in your learning kit.
  • Sign in to Google Classroom app using your student's Google login credentials. Login credentials are located on the back of the QR code that is included in your learning kit.
  • Join Google Classroom Classes for special classes (music, PE, STEM, social studies, science, and health) using the class codes provided in the learning kit.
  • Sign in to Clever app using your Google login credential or the Clever QR code.
  • Where to find Seesaw, Self Service (similar to App Store), and how to contact the LOSD tech support center.


You will need

  • School issued iPad
  • Google login credentials - located on the backside of your Clever QR code. The QR code is attached to a lanyard and can be found in your learning kit.
  • Clever QR code - can be found in your learning kit, attached to a lanyard.

Essential Logins for Chromebooks, Grades 3 to 5

The video covers
  • Sign in to the Chromebook using your student's Google login credentials. Log in credentials are located on the back of the QR code that is included in the learning kit.
  • Find Google Classroom in the Chrome waffle.
  • Join Google Classroom Classes for special classes (music, PE, STEM, social studies, science, and health) using the class codes provided in the learning kit.
  • Sign in to Clever portal using your Google login credential or the Clever QR code.
  • If needed, install Zoom Chrome app from the Chrome webstore.


You will need

  • School issued Chromebook

Meet and Greet - A Time for Kids

The Meet & Greet is a virtual meeting between your student and their new teacher. Meetings will be held on Wednesday, Sept 2 to Friday, Sept 4.


Unlike Parent-Teacher conferences, this time is designed to build relationships between student and teacher, but parents may also be a part of the virtual meeting if they wish. Meetings will be held over Zoom. Your student's teacher will send you a link prior to the scheduled meeting.
