PK3.3 - Peek at the week
29th August - 2nd September
Hello again PK3.3 parents!
Our third fun filled week has flown by! This week our main focus has been our classroom rules and schedule. Making our classroom rules clear and offering consistent routines help us create a harmonious classroom environment. We have been talking about our school’s 5 Bees:
- Be Kind,
- Be Responsible,
- Be Safe,
- Be Respectful
- Be Green
Using the song “Hickory Dickory Dock” we introduced the concept of time and asked the question “When do things happen in school?”. We learnt that a clock is a tool for telling time, and our schedule is another way to tell time and find out what comes next in our day. We explored the beat of a ticking clock and accompanied it with rhythm sticks; practicing listening and building our self-control skills.
We hope your children enjoyed the week as much as we did
If you have any questions, however big or small please do not hesitate to get in touch. JMcDonald@isp.edu.pa
Have a great weekend everyone.
