Valentines Day

Cupid, Romeo + Juliet, Hearts

Valentines Day is the day of love and romance. Named after the Saint who married soldiers behind the backs of the Romans, today nothing but gushy messages and cheap, chocolate, candies can represent this day better.

What better to display this day of mainstream day of love than Romeo and Juliet themselves. The poster children for "violent delights" and "violent ends" these two spark the longing for love felt in youth. Every time these legendary lovers are involved in a scheme, people flock to be apart and I would use this to sell.

Hearts will also convey the message of Valentines Day. This symbol has been synonymous with the theme of love for all know history and nothing reminds people of gushy, butterfly, feeling quite like hearts. Pink and red hearts are the typical poster child for Valentines day. With its iconic touch, hearts use nostalgia to remind people of the love they lost and the cards they received in grade school, which entices curiosity of merchandise and, hopefully, buying.
