November 25, 2020 ~ Happy Thanksgiving!
What's happening at CLP:
CELEBRATING THE LORD’S SUPPER
Sunday, December 6, we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper in worship. If you are participating online, please have a small piece of bread or cracker and a small cup of juice, wine or water available. We will all receive the elements when instructed to do so.
TABLE TALK ABOUT MISSION MIRACLES:
THE GIFT THAT KEEPS GIVING
The 2020 Christmas Mission Project Begins Sunday, November 29 through December 25
This mission project is designed to bring families and our church community closer together, while also learning more about the organizations we support locally, nationally and internationally. Devotional booklets and containers will be available in the Sanctuary, Souers Hall and Church Office. Each day of Advent we will have the opportunity to learn more about a specific organization The Church at Litchfield Park supports, how our support makes a difference and is related to scripture. Each reflection is an opportunity to consider how God might be calling us to respond to the needs of others by exchanging consumerism for compassion. Throughout Advent, our containers will serve as a visible reminder of the difference a few coins or dollars can make as we fill them. We invite everyone to bring their filled containers back to the Sanctuary, Souers Hall or the church office anytime between Sunday, December 27-Sunday, January 3. All of the monies collected will be divided equally among the organizations you learn about in the booklet.
ZOOM VIRTUAL SUNDAY SCHOOL - THANKSGIVING BREAK
Please enjoy a week off from our ZOOM for Virtual Sunday School as we celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. We will resume on ZOOM, next week to visit with friends and teachers, learn about God’s love, get creative with a craft and share your “MIGHTY MOMENT!” You will find the meeting link in the Children’s Ministry eNewsletter that gets sent out to parents, or there is a virtual Sunday school link on the church website. We look forward to visiting with you!
NOVEMBER FOOD DRIVE
Thank you to all who donated food for the Thanksgiving Food Drive. Remember, that as we serve others, we serve a Mighty God!
GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP
Learning to live after a life change (the death of a loved one or friend, loss of a job or relationship, etc.), particularly in the midst of changes brought forth by the pandemic, is often extremely difficult. This week is Thanksgiving break but Kathy Bilak and Leanne Walgren will resume grief support opportunities on Sundays (12/6, 12/13 & 12/20) from 10:30 to 11:15. If you wish to participate, we request that you sign up via Sign Up Genius (located on the church website at churchatlitchfieldpark.org). We will be meeting virtually using Zoom. If you have any questions or need help registering, please contact the church office at 623-935-3411.

CHRISTMAS EVE
We are looking forward to celebrating the birth of our Savior in unprecedented ways this year! The Church at Litchfield Park will be offering two drive-in Christmas Eve services in the dirt lot south of the church at 6:00 and 8:00 p.m., which will require a lot of help. Watch the weekly eNewsletter and announcements for more information related to registering, parking and how you can get involved.

TECHNOLOGICAL OPPORTUNITIES
We are in need of volunteers to assist with a variety of technological needs. If you possess technological gifts in the areas of sound, video and projection, and are interested in serving, please contact Eric Jameson at techteam@clp.church.
Dear God, thank you for all you have given me. There are too many blessings of time, talent and treasure to count. I pray that you create in me a giving and generous heart that glorifies you and a cheerful heart that desires to give back to you a measure of what you have given me. Amen.
Stewardship Announcement:
Thank you all so much for the sharing of your time, talent and treasure during this difficult time. Your dedication and service has allowed the church to continue our missions, outreach and services. Currently we are falling short on our 2021 pledge goal. You have done very well in increasing the number of new pledges; but after 4 weeks of the 2021 campaign we are almost $95,000 behind the pledges received at this time in the 2020 campaign. Please prayerfully consider returning a pledge card as soon as possible.
