Megatherium Americanum

About Megatherium:
Megatherium spent its days on the ground, feasting on leaves and other plants from trees. He used his long tounge to reach hard places in the trees, and his enormous size allowed him to grasp vegetation other herbavores could not get to. On some days, Megatherium did eat the carcuses of other animals, such as the Glydodon, but he mainly stuck to his vegetarian diet. He liked to keep to himself and seldom traveled with others, although some days he would come across a group of sloths like himself. Other than these rare encounters, Megatherium lived a peaceful life, and was not disturbed by predators, as he could deliver fatal blows with his gigantic limbs.
