Exit Tickets - Let's Start a List

Since many of you are using Exit Tickets as formative assessments and for tracking data, someone suggested we make a list of all the different kinds of Exit Tickets. When you are planning and need a new idea, you simply refer to our list. Remember our Rock Solid Teaching list? That list is really rock solid. We did a bang-up job.

I have complete confidence in our ability to do a bang-up job with an incredible list of Exit Tickets.

Friday, Nov. 21, we have PBL PD at 7:35. Your homework is to bring a small document with an idea for an Exit Ticket. You don't need to add content or you can. Here's mine: "Draw three different graphic organizers for showing similarities and differences." Use a sticky note, quarter sheet of paper, whatever.

Your Exit Ticket will be stuck to the front white board. I'll have tape available or you can bring a sticky note. I'm looking forward to 35 ideas for Exit Tickets.

Friday is our next PD about PBL. We are going to focus on chapter 3, Planning the Details. This chapter has a lot of meat in it, so please review before Friday at 7:35 AM.

Organizing Materials When You Have Tables

If you are wondering how to store materials when you have tables, take a look at the photo above. Plastic shelves with pvc pipe may be the answer. They come pretty cheap at Lowe's, Menards, or the big box hardware stores. If you have questions or want to take a look, ask Georgi.
