Week of 1-22-19
Shorter Week
Monday off and two 1/2 days this week, with the possibility of ice tomorrow? Hope you all enjoyed your 3-day weekend. I'm fighting the crud that has been floating around the building, so my weekend included a lot of Netflix and hot tea!
We have the end of the semester this week. The year is officially 1/2 over and continues to fly by faster than ever. Report card directions and submission dates are listed below. Report cards are send home electronically Friday, February 1, which is next Friday.
Sharon emailed conference forms last week for you. Please remember, all IRP students should have a conference. If this is more than one evening can cover, please let me know as I have some options for additional time if needed.
Thank you to all who attended the PTO meeting last Monday. We had as many staff members as there were parents (outside of the PTO board). The parents and board appreciate your input and feedback as they make decisions about how to support Morgan. Two ideas floating are an adult-only event, either bowling night or golf outing. I also have a survey for you to take that is linked below, asking for input on Morgan priorities for upcoming funding from the PTO.
Please note that Thursday and Friday afternoons this week are furlough days for teachers and you are NOT required to stay at Morgan in the afternoon. The building is open and running regular hours, so you are welcome to stay if you so choose.
Have a good week!
Sue
