Did your child sign up for the interest fair?
Interest Fair Practice Classroom Presentation
Your child has been hard at work for the past several weeks on his/her Interest Fair Project. In an effort to help him/her prepare for the “big day,” I’d love to have him/her present his/her project to our class! Not only will this give him/her an opportunity to practice before being evaluated, but he/she will also get to showcase his/her hard work to the rest of the class!
Please have your child bring in his/her project to school on Wednesday, April 6th, the day BEFORE the Interest Fair. Your child will present to our class and then can leave the project here to set up prior to the interest fair on Thursday, April 7th.
Remember that the Interest Fair runs from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7th.
At the conclusion of the fair, your child will need to bring home his/her project.
Fact Fluency Practice
Wisconsin Forward Exam
The english language arts tests are scheduled for Wednesday, April 13th and Thursday, April 14th. The math test is scheduled for Tuesday, April 19th. All testing sessions are schedule to start at 9a.
Reading with fluency and expression is something we continue to work on as 3rd Grade readers. Ask your child to tell you more about the variety of Read Alouds we enjoyed during the month of March.
Have fun modeling expressive reading to your child and encourage them to read aloud to the family to practice their fluency and expression.
