Angie Peschel, executive director of curriculum and instruction, Penny Pease, director of technology and Susan Herder, instructional technology coordinator, gave an update on the District Operational Plan (DOP) goal of instructional technology. Peschel, Pease and Herder shared information on remote learning classrooms, how technology supports high-quality instruction, survey results regarding student access and a new platform to share technology apps that are used for instruction. Peter Leatherman, CEO of the Morris Leatherman Company, gave an overview of a parent and resident satisfaction survey for Mounds View Public Schools of 400 randomly sampled residents and 300 randomly sampled parents conducted between March 28 and April 8, 2022. The results of the survey can be viewed here.

The Board discussed issues and updates related to AMSD and legislative issues.
