Student Needs Assessment Form (SNAF)
Thank you to all of the Teachers and TA's for completing our Student Needs Assessment Forms (SNAF) so efficiently and effectively. This is a process that advocates for our students with special needs to assist with the level of TA support they will have every year. Your work is greatly appreciated!
CCAT testing for Grade 4 students
Please note that there will be a Grade 4 CCAT meeting on March 8th to discuss results and next steps . Please meet us in the library to look at the CCAT results and further information regarding testing by our school psychologist. Thank you!
Individual Education Plan (IEP) and Reporting- Heads Up!
The Alternative Expectations for Term 1 IEPs must be commented on again with the Term 1 report cards. Please see the Monograph for IEP instructions on when to click the boxes, etc.
If any of your students require updates on their STEPs, please let your support teacher know. We will not be meeting to update STEP for Term One reports, as they were recently updated in late November.

Our Grade One Reading Recovery Professional Development Sessions at Sherwood Mills P.S has begun again! Theresa, April and Krista are excited to continue to attend the ongoing professional development for Reading Recovery for our Grade 1 students. If any one is interested in learning more about the program or watching a Reading Recovery lesson, please let one of us know. Thank you!
