October 19, 2020
The staff here at CTHS look forward to welcoming our students back as soon as possible. Until then, staff will work to provide meaningful instruction in a virtual format. Look for information regarding instruction, homework, and potential Zoom sessions to be communicated through teacher's Google classrooms or websites.
Once we are cleared to come back, screening your students at home every morning will become more important than ever. Please make sure to take your student's temperature each morning and if they are showing any symptoms of COVID 19 please have your student stay home. Our goal is to return to in-person learning. We must work together to achieve this goal. Once back at school, our staff will continue to be vigilant in making sure proper mask wearing, hand washing, and social distancing are practiced. Please refer to the When to Quarantine , When to Return to School, and Keeping Students Safe and Schools Open documents for further guidance.

If this new date conflicts with your schedule, please see Mrs. Clark in the counseling office for a refund.

Nutrition Sevices Update
One month ago, Nutrition Services switched from the National School Lunch Program to the Summer Food Service program, in which all enrolled students who already participate in the lunch program have access to free breakfast and lunch. You may recall in a previous announcement that this program would run through the end of December 2020 or until funds run out. At that time, we anticipated returning to the National School Lunch Program in January 2021.
This past Friday, the USDA announced they have extended this waiver through June 30, 2021 or until the end of the school year. Nutrition Services will continue to provide breakfast and lunch at no cost for the remainder of the school year. This is for both At-School and At-Home Learners. As a reminder, if At-Home Learners would like meals, parents are to contact our Server-Cashiers to arrange for pickup times at curbside.
