Please remember that ice cream orders are on Tuesday and Thursday. It is $1.00 per order. If you send in extra I have been saving it for the next day that we order. All of first grade orders on those two days.
On birthdays, or for special occasions, you can send $15 to purchase ice cream for the class. The office asks that you pay and order at least a week or more in advance so they can order enough for the following week.

iStation and STAR Reading
Please look at your child's scores and the suggestions for areas to work on. If your child is performing like a first grader at the start of the year (GE means Grade Equivalent) then they are fine for right now. If you see that your child is below grade level, make sure to work on good reading habits at home and they will receive some extra lessons in the classroom.
I will make a conference to meet with everyone further into the quarter and after we take the tests a second time. If you have questions before then, please let me know.
