Volunteer on the Farm!
Fall in the garden!
What a refreshing time of year! The garden is eager to be cleaned up and (mostly) put away to rest for the winter. We reshape beds, spread lots of mulch and compost, work in our high tunnels and clear out summer crops. Help us grow food for our community while learning about our sustainable growing methods.
Meet at the Harvest Pavilion at the lower garden. Drop in anytime Saturdays between 10am-1pm and stay for as little or as much as you would like. If you are under 18 years old you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian please. We LOVE groups! Call to schedule a group to come and volunteer. Contact Farmer Shannon at sraider@commongroundct.org or call 203.389.4333 ext. 1217
