Dealing With Stress

Hadleigh Guisinger 2nd hr.

The definition of stress is a feeling that is created when we react to certain events. there's a difference between good and bad stress. Good stress is needed to help react in extreme events and bad stress is when you have the feeling all the time. Bad stress can even make you sick. The body's response to stress are things like less sleep, change in eating habits, and headaches.some of the body's emotional responses to stress are worrying, feeling lonely, and even depression. Just taking time to focus on breathing, time to relax , or even playing sports can get rid of even the slightest stress. there are also unhealthy ways to deal with stress that seem easier now but will catch you in the long run, those relievers are things like not eating enough or over eating, drinking/ smoking or drugs, not dealing with it and letting it get worse, or totally blocking everyone out of your life. If you or someone you know needs help, tell a trusted adult or parent. They can get you talking to a councilor or doctor.
