Math Workshop
Jones (6th Grade Curriculum)- Algebra is the focus this week in our group. Mathematicians have been learning about general patterns (a+b=b+a) and special cases (examples that follow the general pattern 12+13=13+12), patterns with two variables, formulas, and evaluating expressions. We are halfway through this unit and the mathematicians are working hard to make their thinking visible in many ways.

CHAMPS, Perspectives, Solving Problems
CHAMPS were chosen by students in our lab on Friday. These students are chosen each year who represent integrity, kindness, fairness, honesty and the ability to help younger kids through small problems. The CHAMPS this year are: Annabelle, Aiden, Nora, Brookelin, Eva, Nick, Matthew and Bradley. It is a huge honor and we are very proud of our class for recognizing these kids.
