End of Third Grade Update

May 23rd-May 27th

Teacher Thoughts

Hi Everyone,

The Economics Fair is tomorrow and we are excited!!! Please feel free to bring your money and join us if you have the time. We do ask that all parents say a quick hello then move out of their budding entrepeneur's way so he/she can get back to work.

We have set expectations for when products can be put out so please don't worry about those kinds of things if you come by. Just shop, shop, shop until you're broke!!

Student Appreciation Days!!

I would like to have Student Appreciation Days the last week of school (May 31st-June 2nd) to honor the wonderful students that fill our room.

I thought it would be exciting if we could do several activities that would make our last week together fun and memorable!

Here’s our schedule to put on the fridge:

Tuesday, May 31st: Escape to a world of reading & imagination!!

Bring a blanket, beach towel, or flat sheet, your pillow, and a toy of your choosing to enjoy a day of reading & playing in our room! (Bedding is optional.)

Wednesday, June 1st: We’re Never “Board” at school!

Students may bring in a favorite game/board game or electronic today. *All games & electronics must have child’s name visible to ensure each item goes home with the person who brought it.

(Awards Ceremony in cafeteria 8:00-9:00 today.

Class Party will be at 10:45-12:15 today! **Don’t forget your yearbook for the party so friends can sign it!!)

Thursday, June 2nd: Let’s Pop into Summer!

We’ll enjoy a video today. I’ll provide the popcorn & s’mores. (Last day of school!)
