Featured Artist of the Month

Our Artist of the Month for January is Frank Lloyd Wright, who was a famous American architect who lived from 1867-1869. He designed over 1,000 architectural works and created some of the most innovative spaces of our time including Fallingwater. WESA students will explore and learn about Wright and other architecture in the Design Studio throughout the month.

“The mission of an architect is to help people understand how to make life more beautiful, the world a better one for living in, and to give reason, rhyme, and meaning to life.”

– FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT, 1957

January Theme: "Be a Part of the Solution as a Leader"

This month students will learn about leadership and how being a leader contributes to being a part of the solution. Students will have the opportunity to discuss characteristics of individuals/groups who have exhibited leadership, and how leadership has potential to positively impact others.

Thank you to our Families!

The WESA staff and Santa want to thank all of our families who attended the Winter Art Gala! It was a huge success. Students were beaming with pride as they shared their art with their family and friends. There were lots of smiles for Santa and our staff loved ending our 1st semester in such a positive way. Santa even commented on what a nice community we have at WESA and promises to come back next year! Keep up the good work Bulldogs, you've got an in with Santa now!
