Principal's Message
Good evening everyone,
I hope you're enjoying the weekend. Please read the bulletin thoroughly as it contains important information for the short school-week ahead.
A special thank you to the parent volunteers who came to support us Friday as students enjoyed the prizes they earned for The Ultimate Hawk Challenge! All of the prizes were awarded to Kindergarten, Grade 2 and Grade 3 students during the school. Kindergarteners enjoyed a movie, Grade 2 students enjoyed a staff v. students kickball games, jump roping, hula hoops, and other physical activities for an hour on the field and Grade 3 students enjoyed a second recess!
We thank the Barbieri Community for making our FIRST Ultimate Hawk Challenge a true success!

PARENT TEACHER HOME VISITS
The school district is restarting the partnership with the Parent Teacher Home Visits (PTHV) Program to strengthen relationships between families and schools and to improve academic accomplishment, family participation, and communication between school and home.
Educators' (including aides and assistant teachers) and families' participation in the Parent Teacher Home Visits Program is optional.
The visits are in pairs, and the educators contact the families to invite them to partake in the home visit, which takes 30 to 40 minutes. Interpreters can be arranged if needed.
