ACS CLUB CHAPTER ORGANIZES BOGOTA LIBRARY PROJECT
TETERBORO'S TINY LIBRARY
Introducing Teterboro's first Tiny Library. In order to encourage more reading among our students Mary Biggins and Stephanie Cirrone have brought the concept of the Tiny Library to our campus. This is a great way to encourage our students to read more and to also share some of their books that they have enjoyed with others. In addition, it affords our students the opportunity to use a library when at times it is difficult to get to the one in their hometown. If you have any books at home that you would like to share please bring them in and place them in the Tiny Library located in the auxillary cafeteria. - Mary Biggins & Stephanie Cirrone

S.A.M. STEPS INTO THE REAL WORLD
Bergen Tech Alumni took part in a panel discussion with all the S.A.M. grade levels. Students had an opportunity to ask whatever questions were on their mind, from their college experiences to how they spend their days, and how late they work each day. This new S.A.M.Advisory Council met with Ms. Sfeir and Ms. Van Daalen to discuss the best may to implement their expertise and share their knowledge and skills with our students.
The panel participants are kindly making themselves available to students who are free to email them regarding their Strategic Roadmaps, a detailed plan that all S.A.M. students now develop as freshmen and then update each year. The Strategic Roadmap lays out the activities, experiences, skills, and knowledge that students must acquire during their tenure here at Bergen Tech to get where they want to go in life.
The panel included two students working as strategy consultants. Jason Silber and Gelline DeGuzman both work in M&A (mergers and acquisitions) for KPMG, though very different aspects. Another student is a marketing consultant. Her firm has a monopoly on sales data relative to household products, such as Dove, which they use to offer advice to their client firms. Yet another student, who majored here in Auto, now works for the very prestigious private equity firm, The Blackstone Group.
It was great to see our alumni thriving and enjoying their careers and lives. Each person seemed to find his/her niche in life and was happy to share with students how they each went about making their way from Bergen Tech to college and then to the working world. They promise to be back next year! - Norina Sfeir
