MESSAGE FROM MRS. FURMAN
The Kindergarten and New Family Orientations were a great success last week! It was wonderful to welcome our newest Eagles to PES!
Our next event is the PES School Picnic! Please join us on Thursday, September 2nd from 4:30-6:30PM. You can walkthrough the building and most teachers will be at the picnic to greet you!
I am so excited for the first day of school tomorrow! I'm sure I am not the only one that will find it difficult to sleep tonight!
Happy New Year and I will see you tomorrow!
Again, please feel free to reach out to me directly if there is anything I can do to support you and your family!
Please log in to SDM to make sure your child's dismissal is accurate. This is the information the teachers use at the end of the day to make sure your child is dismissed correctly so please make sure it's right!
Please remember that you must update SDM before 2:00 PM so the update gets into the teacher report. If you have an emergency after 2:00 PM and need to change the dismissal option, you may call the office. Please avoid calling the office during dismissal as the staff will be focused on getting everyone to the right place and may not be able to answer the phone.
Tomorrow each child will bring home a name placard to be used for pickups at the end of the day. If your child ALWAYS rides the bus, you will only need the name placard on the rare day you decide to pick up at dismissal. If you lose the placard or need additional placards for others who pick up your child, you can simply make one! Please display the placard on the passenger side of the windshield so our staff can see the name and know which child to call over.
Regional School District 15 is committed to providing our students, faculty and staff, with a safe, clean and aesthetically pleasing environment conducive to learning. This program is ongoing and the intent is to reduce the exposure of building occupants to potentially hazardous products, equipment or procedures, which could adversely affect human health, the environment both indoors and outdoors. Please see the attached for more information.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SCHOOL DISMISSAL MANAGER APP
“Hello Parent” email was sent from email@example.com on 8/17/21
IMPORTANT: Returning parents need to UNINSTALL last year’s App before installing the new App.
ALL parents: You will need to add the SDM App-CLICK HERE to INSTALL to a smartphone, tablet, or web browser via the link included in this sentence. The app is compatible with Android and Apple devices.
For new families an email will be forthcoming with your usernames and password by Friday 8/27/21. Families who have a login from last year, you will keep your same login information. SDM sends an email out to each family so if you already have a login your credentials will be blank when the email comes.
An email will be sent by 8/27/21 letting all families know they can login and see the 2021-2022 information on SDM and start making your dismissal changes if needed. PLEASE: Do not log in at this time as we are still making updates.
IMPORTANT: All students will be defaulted to their bus. Please note: If your child will not be taking the bus you will need to log into SDM and make a change. For example, if you are going to pick up your child, you need to log in and make that change, otherwise they will board their bus home.
School Dismissal Manager will start on day 1, Tuesday 8/31/2021
