The remaining class will be reviewing some notes they may have missed on body systems.
Our next unit of study is genetics.
Social Studies and ELA - Mrs. Owensby
Students will have a new stems list with a quiz on Friday. They completed the graphic novel book club on WWII and did an awesome job! This week they will prepare for writing as a test taker.

Focus students are working daily on our spring production "Teenage Nightmare" to be performed on April 12. Attendance in class is very important in the coming weeks! THERE ARE ONLY 18 CLASS REHEARSALS UNTIL WE PERFORM!
Please go ahead and mark calendars for the dress rehearsal and performance!
Dress Rehearsal, Wednesday, April 11, 3:00-5:00 pm. Students should be picked up promptly at the front of the school at 5:00 pm.
Performance, Thursday, April 12. Students called at 5:30 pm. Performance begins at 6:00 pm.
Dance - Mrs. Brewington
7th Grade Dance Rotation: We continue working on the dance for the April 24th performance at 6:00 PM. Costume information was sent home. Money is due by March 23rd. Costume check will be conducted on March 23rd for a grade.
7th dance focus: Costume items are due March 23rd. We will have a costume check, for a grade, onMarch 23rd.
Those attending SCDA trip: meet at Brewer, bus entrance side, at 6:15 am. We will be departing for the Gov School at 6:30 am. We can not wait for those that are late. Classes begin at 8:00 am.

This nine weeks I challenged the students to read a book of their choice every two weeks. Kudos go to the students who read the most in 8 weeks: Claudia Jensen 7, Francesca Lopes 6, Claire Leuthner- Barrineau 6, Gicel Verdeflor 6, Sophia Lai 6, Aliya Abdelwahab 5, Margaret Stevens 5, Saniyah Strong 5, and Hannah Eppley 5.
We will continue our study of "Serving Mein Fuhrer" and "A Survivor Remembers". We will begin reading The Boy Who Dared this week. Vocabulary test on Thursday.
