A Pollen Note From Nurse G
Hey there Wildcats, we have just completed week 3 staying healthy while working at home! Now it's time for a break, Spring Break that is! I hope the weather will be nice so everyone can enjoy some outside time, just remember all that pollen is still out there! Try not to rub your eyes or face while you are out there playing, it might rub the pollen into it and then your eyes might start to get really itchy and watery! If that happens just come inside and wash your hands with soap and water and then rinse your face off with only water. If your clothes are covered in it you may need to change clothes once you come inside too!
Here are is a good website to check the current pollen count:

If you would like a refresher, here is a great video from the CDC about good hand washing!
Social & Emotional Learning Resources
Here are 2 links we’re sharing with you in hopes of giving you more insight into Social and Emotional Learning and how to implement some of these skills at home! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Kate Rounds, our school counselor, if you have any questions: krounds@forsyth.k12.ga.us!
What is Social and Emotional Learning? This short video introduces CASEL (the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning) which helps to guide our district and the “soft skills” we’re teaching students.
SEL resources at home This is CASEL’s website where they have shared resources for how to talk to your kids about what’s going on, activities you can do at home, etc.
