About the Presentation:
This full-day workshop is designed to help classroom teachers, Special Education case managers and SpEd coordinators use paraprofessionals and other support personnel more effectively. Supported by a multi-media presentation, Maximizing Your Para’s Potential offers strategies and ideas that will guide participants toward being better managers of the human resources placed in their classrooms, and it will help create an atmosphere of cooperation, collaboration and learning that will lead to greater success for students.
Maximizing Your Para’s Potential includes an up-beat mix of topical and thought-provoking lecture, as well as engaging Coffee Talks (group discussions and activities). Attendees will also walk away with a Tool Kit, which includes guides, further resources, and a variety of other tools to help teachers implement an effective and structured management system of their support personnel.
